The phasing was part of the original masterplan design by Eero Saarinen and Associates, who also completed the design for the first phase. The project design was subsequently completed by Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo and Associates. Today, the mechanical and electrical systems support the continuing research efforts of Lucent Technologies.
