Clayton C. Brancato

Senior Associate

Clayton Brancato joined JB&B in 2015 and serves in dual roles as a Senior Associate with both the HVAC Department and the Energy Modeling team, engaging his expertise in both design and energy modeling to bring a practical design approach to energy analysis. During his time with the firm, he has played an instrumental role in the design and management of numerous projects, including medical facilities, laboratories, transportation hubs and office fit-outs. Among Mr. Brancato’s more notable projects is the Moynihan Train Hall redevelopment, in which the landmarked James A. Farley Post Office Building was transformed into a public train hall/office building.

Mr. Brancato’s HVAC responsibilities include mechanical system design, project management, coordination with external consultants, preparation of construction documents/project specifications, and construction administration. His responsibilities with the Energy Modeling team include whole-building calibrated energy modeling and evaluation of design feasibility of decarbonization strategies.

Mr. Brancato earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
