James K. McGarity

Technical Lead

James McGarity joined Jaros, Baum & Bolles in 2001 and serves as a Technical Leader. Throughout his 40-year professional career, he has served as Project Engineer on a variety of commercial, educational, hospitality and institutional projects in both the public and private sectors.

Considered a trusted advisor by many of the firm’s clients, among Mr. McGarity’s notable projects are One World Trade Center, the National September 11 Memorial & Museum at the World Trade Center, 30 Hudson Yards and The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards, One Manhattan West and the TWA Hotel and Conference Center at JFK International Airport.

Mr. McGarity attended the State University of New York in Farmingdale as well as the NYU School of Continuing Education. He is a member of the American Society of Professional Engineers (ASPE) and is part of JB&B’s firm-wide technical standards group.
