Jonathan W. Koop

PE

Director, HVAC

Jonathan Koop joined JB&B in 2012 and currently serves as a Director of the HVAC Department. He has designed HVAC systems for a wide variety of building types, including commercial office, educational, healthcare and cultural.

Mr. Koop has led the design and construction administration phases of Trinity Commons, a 27-story owner-occupied and speculative office tower. He has also led the HVAC design for an 11-building expansion to the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México University campus in Mexico City. He has provided design expertise for large-scale infrastructure upgrades, such as the boiler and chiller plants for The Durst Organization at 1133 Avenue of the Americas and the boiler plants at the Coler-Goldwater Specialty Hospital and Nursing Facility. He is currently serving as project manager for the new all-electric 343 Madison Avenue office building in New York, NY.

Mr. Koop earned his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from Villanova University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York.
