As an Executive Vice President with over 35 years of experience, Mark Torre has managed the design of a wide range of projects both nationally and internationally. His experience includes office towers, hotels, residential, museums, corporate data centers, academic buildings, hospitals, laboratories and major financial institutions.

In addition to leading the firm’s strategy and operations, Mr. Torre was the Principal-in-Charge on JB&B’s work for the mixed-use Hudson Yards Redevelopment project, the largest private real estate development in the history of the United States, which extended to The Shed, an innovative cultural center at Hudson Yards and the first movable building in the world. He was also the Principal-in-Charge on the Moynihan Train Hall project, redeveloping McKim, Mead & White’s James A. Farley Post Office into a 21st-century transit hub.

Along with his work on notable projects such as The Shed and the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, Mr. Torre has also taken the lead on a wide range of university projects such as the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering in Brooklyn, New York Law School, New York City College of Technology and the Barnard College Diana Center. He has provided expertise and project management to major financial institutions, including Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and the New York Mercantile Exchange, and has also worked extensively on corporate data center projects, including infrastructure and fit-out for Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Sullivan & Cromwell and Thomson Reuters.

Mr. Torre holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Pace University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and a U.S. Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional.
