Matthew Girnys
Senior Associate, Technologies
Matthew Girnys serves as a Senior Associate at JB&B, and currently works in telecommunications and security design with JB&B Technologies. He is also taking the lead on JB&B’s cybersecurity services.
Mr. Girnys’s projects span multiple market sectors, including healthcare and research centers, educational facilities, financial institutions, public transportation hubs, hotels and commercial office buildings. His work includes the design of research centers, such as NYU Langone Health’s Science Building and the Jerome L. Greene Science Center at Columbia University Manhattanville. He has also worked on telecommunications master planning, including the design for the Columbia University Manhattanville campus, Hudson Yards redevelopment, NYU Langone Health, and Moynihan Train Hall.
Mr. Girnys holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from Stevens Institute of Technology.
