Senior Associate
Matthew Matarese serves as a Senior Associate for JB&B Field® and is overall lead for the firm’s Testing, Adjusting and Balancing (TAB) services. He joined the firm in 2005 and has held positions as an HVAC design engineer, an onsite field representative for numerous long-term projects, a leader of the MEP Advisory Services group and now as leader of the TAB group, in which he manages all aspects of business development, proposal writing, final reporting and staff scheduling.
Mr. Matarese’s work includes design, calculations, preparation of construction documents, project management and field observations, and he served as the onsite engineer for the Citigroup repositioning project at 388-390 Greenwich Street and the Baha Mar Resort project in the Bahamas. He has completed a wide variety of projects, ranging from university buildings to corporate offices, medical hospitals and public institutions, including work for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Barnard College, Mount Sinai Hospital’s residential tower, the Brooklyn Museum and Ziff Brothers Investments.
Mr. Matarese is a LEED Accredited Professional. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and minored in Mathematics at Manhattan University.
