Principal

Maxwell Hatfield-Biondo serves as a Principal at Jaros, Baum & Bolles. Since joining the firm in 2007, he has led HVAC design for JB&B on a wide variety of projects across multiple sectors. In addition to his work on the headquarters of a confidential client in Hudson Square with Silverstein Properties, his design expertise extends to NYC office projects such as 175 Park Avenue with RXR and TF Cornerstone, and a building electrification retrofit of 345 Hudson Street with Hines; and, outside of New York, an office-to-life-science conversion in Waltham, MA, with BXP. He has also completed projects at Two Manhattan West with Brookfield Properties and 76 Trinity Commons with Trinity Real Estate; and a full-building infrastructure upgrade of 1133 Avenue of the Americas for The Durst Organization as well as an infrastructure upgrade boiler plant installation at 2 MetroTech Center with Brookfield Properties.

As the co-lead of JB&B’s higher education Community of Practice, he has worked on Columbia University Manhattanville’s central energy plant, the Tata Innovation Center on Cornell Tech’s campus, and is currently working on the design of the Richard and Diana Vagelos Science Center at Barnard College.

Mr. Hatfield-Biondo is a licensed Professional Engineer in the States of Connecticut, Michigan, New York, and Pennsylvania and is LEED AP BD+C certified. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Tufts University and is JB&B’s HVAC Standards Committee Chair.
