Michael Berrios serves as a Director of the Electrical Department at JB&B. Since joining the firm in 2008, he has worked as Project Manager and Project Engineer on a wide variety of projects in the data center, financial, and office building sectors.
Mr. Berrios provides technical leadership on complex infrastructure projects across new and existing commercial office buildings, healthcare facilities, and mission-critical data centers. His portfolio includes the repositioning of existing buildings at 550 Madison Avenue and 325 Hudson Street, along with new-building projects at 7 Bryant Park, 343 Madison Avenue, and the White Plains Hospital New Inpatient Building. He has worked on some of the firm’s premier data center facilities, such as the 131 Market/165 Halsey Street data center in Newark, NJ, and has taken the lead in one of the firm’s newest and most rapidly expanding sectors—the deployment of battery energy storage systems—with projects in the outer boroughs of New York City for MicroGrid Networks and Orenda Power.
Mr. Berrios earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering and his Master of Business Administration in Executive Management from St. John’s University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York.
