Principal

Nora Swanson joined JB&B in 2023 and serves as a Principal. She brings to the firm nearly twenty years of industry experience, having forged a highly successful career as a mechanical engineer, project manager, and Director of Design Technologies, and she has been instrumental in driving digital innovation and enhancing knowledge management systems across the engineering community.

Working in close collaboration with the firm’s BIM Director, IT Director, and internal committees, Ms. Swanson leverages her experience and mechanical engineering background to focus on the implementation of digital technologies; enhancing workflow processes for efficiency and effectiveness; and developing and sharing knowledge across the firm, with clients, and throughout the industry.

Ms. Swanson has been widely recognized for her achievements and dedication to the industry, including having been honored as a “40 Under 40” in building, construction, and real estate as well as being selected by Crain’s as an Outstanding Woman in Technology. She earned her Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at Villanova University; is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Pennsylvania; a LEED Accredited Professional; and a Certified SmartScore and WiredScore Accredited Professional.
