Peter Li

Principal

Peter Li is a Principal at Jaros, Baum & Bolles. Having initially joined the firm in 2017, he now leads the Plumbing and Fire Protection Department across firm’s New York, Boston and Philadelphia offices. With expertise spanning commercial, residential, healthcare, and life sciences sectors, Peter plays a pivotal role in every phase of the design process, from initial concept development to construction administration.

With a specialization in the commercial, life sciences, and healthcare sectors, he has garnered wide-ranging experience on such notable projects as the expansion of Virtual Memorial Hospital, a new outpatient Cancer Center for Northwell Health, the development of large-scale office buildings such as Two Manhattan West, and innovative life sciences adaptive reuse projects such as Cure at 345 Park Avenue South and West End Labs.

Peter earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from SUNY Stony Brook. He is a licensed Professional Engineer across multiple states (AR, AZ, CA, CT, FL, LA, MA, ME, MI, MN, NH, NJ, NM, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, WA), a LEED Accredited Professional with the U.S. Green Building Council, and an active member of both the NYC Fire Protection Code Committee and the ACEC Plumbing Code Committee.
