Senior Associate, DAS/RF Engineering

Richard Fann serves as a Senior Associate at JB&B, specializing in DAS/RF engineering for JB&B Technologies. Mr. Fann has over 45 years of experience in RF and public safety two-way radio, including 25+ years of experience in public safety radio and cellular distributed antenna systems (DAS). He has a wide range of experience with new construction and retrofit projects, including hospitals, commercial and residential towers, airports, sporting venues and industrial complexes. Mr. Fann employs combined experience in engineering, consulting, and executive technical management to provide a holistic view of projects and applications. He is a subject matter expert (SME) in Emergency Responder Radio Coverage Systems (ERRCS), Emergency Responder Communication Enhancement Systems (ERCES), FDNY Auxiliary Radio Communication Systems (ARCS), and two-way radio systems.

Some of his notable projects include Hudson Yards, the World Trade Center site redevelopment, Bank of America Tower at One Bryant Park, Yankee Stadium and Honeywell HQ.

Mr. Fann is a graduate of the United States Air Force Technical School, Keesler AFB, MS and the United States Army Signal Center, Fort Gordon, GA. He is an iNARTE Certified Telecommunications Master Engineer, holds a General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL) and an Amateur Extra Radio License (K9RDF). He is also a Certified In-Building Engineering Technologist with a certificate in Advanced RF.
