Richard Weindel

Principal

Richard Weindel serves as Principal at Jaros, Baum & Bolles. Since joining the firm in 1996, Mr. Weindel has been involved in the design and development of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems across a wide range of projects for JB&B, including multi-use commercial developments, cultural facilities, educational institutions and financial facilities. His responsibilities include project management, coordination, design, calculations and preparation of construction documents.

Mr. Weindel has served as the Project Engineer and Project Manager for several multi-purpose high-rise buildings, such as World Trade Center Towers 1 and 7, as well as 7 Bryant Park in New York. His work has included the development of several cultural and educational institutions, including the Butler Library renovation at Columbia University, The Shed and the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center Expansion.

Mr. Weindel holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Engineering at Columbia. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the States of Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania and a LEED Accredited Professional. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
