Robert Ayello serves as a Director of HVAC at JB&B and is a member of its Life Science and Residential Communities of Practice. He started his career with JB&B in 2007 with the HVAC Department and returned to the firm in 2016 after 3 years with a global consulting engineering firm. His current responsibilities include project management, coordination, design, calculations, field observations and the preparation of construction documents. Mr. Ayello has led the design of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for university, financial, mixed-use, residential, hospitality, commercial office and research facility projects worldwide.
Mr. Ayello has provided expertise for major commercial and institutional life science projects such as Alexandria Center for Life Science, JLABS @ NYC, New York Genome Center, New York Structural Biology Center, West End Labs and King Street Properties’ Innolabs. He has also worked on major commercial, residential and hospitality projects such as 35 Hudson Yards, 460 West 34th Street, TWA Hotel at JFK International Airport, and 111 West 57th Street.
Mr. Ayello earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
