Ryan McCarthy joined Jaros, Baum & Bolles in 2012 and currently serves as a Principal. During this time, he has led multidisciplinary teams in the design and delivery of complex projects across the healthcare, hospitality, commercial, and laboratory sectors. His approach centers on strategic leadership, fostering collaboration, and translating client objectives into actionable solutions.

His responsibilities include directing and mentoring project teams, cultivating a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. He serves as the key liaison among clients, architects, and stakeholders, proactively integrating client feedback into project strategies and deliverables. He oversees project management, architectural coordination, and the development of client presentations, ensuring clarity and alignment with client goals. He has also been the lead project manager for new facilities such as the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, The JACX with Tishman Speyer in Long Island City, the Kellen Tower for the Hospital for Special Surgery, and the MSKCC Pavilion.

In addition to his project work, he has a leadership role in JB&B’s Healthcare Community of Practice, as well as the Knowledge Management Community, advancing best practices and knowledge-sharing across the organization.

Mr. McCarthy earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the States of Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
