CANstruction
Creativity for a Cause
Creativity met community impact when JB&B joined forces with VIATechnik and AECOM Tishman for our inaugural participation in CANstruction, a global charity event, building our own version of New York City's iconic Pizza Rat entirely from donated cans of food.
More than a design competition, CANstruction helps provide millions of pounds of food to local food banks each year. From developing the 3D model, collecting over 2,200 cans, to assembling the final sculpture, the project showcased what can happen when creativity, collaboration, and a shared purpose come together to fight hunger.
