Healthier Schools, Brighter Futures
During the Covid-19 pandemic, JB&B partnered with Lubrano Ciavarra on the GET WELL! initiative, reimagining school design through the lens of health, wellness, and resilience to better support New York City's underserved students.
Drawing on our expertise in classroom ventilation, indoor air quality, and healthy building design, JB&B helped develop strategies to reduce the spread of airborne illness while creating safer, more supportive learning environments. By putting wellness at the forefront of design, the initiative demonstrated how thoughtful engineering can have a positive and profound impact on the next generation of learners.
