Communities by Design

When New York neighborhoods faced unprecedented challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic, JB&B contributed pro bono engineering services through the Neighborhoods Now initiative, supporting community-led recovery efforts.

Working alongside KPF and the Bedford-Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, our team helped reimagine public spaces and transform underutilized sites along Fulton Street in Brooklyn. The project demonstrated how collaboration and thoughtful design can help communities recover and reconnect, earning both an AIA New York State Design Award and a Municipal Arts Society MASterworks Award.
