NYU Dentistry Oral Health Center for People with Disabilities
Advancing Accessible Dental Healthcare
This renovation of the 8th Floor of NYU College of Dentistry’s Weissman Hall provides a state-of-the-art dental suite with procedure rooms and nine new operatories for special-needs patients. Every component of the center has been designed to accommodate the physical and environmental support of this unique population, including a multi-sensory therapy room, color-tuned dimmable lighting, and two fully equipped sedation suites for procedures requiring anesthesia in addition to offices, staff rooms, reception areas and equipment rooms.
