Modernizing Critical Building Systems

This project consisted of the installation of a 200 hp dual-fuel boiler, two (2) gas-fired domestic hot water heaters and a new chimney flue liner. Temporary services were provided to the building for heat and hot water to the residents while the existing boiler was demolished and replaced with a new, efficient dual-fuel boiler.

The project pursued a design-build approach that allowed JB&B Field personnel to manage the day-to-day construction activities and streamline all design-related inquiries that were generated. This level of involvement during the Construction Phase of the project has been proven to reduce schedule delays and minimize additional cost to the Client. The single point of contact for design and construction created a highly productive working relationship with both the Client and the General Contractor.
