Design for Creative Learning

The CAED building features studio and lab space for architecture students and administrative office space as well as multi-use assembly/gallery spaces on the ground floor. JB&B services on the project included the provision of central-air VAV air handling units, radiant floor perimeter heating, stormwater retention tanks feeding bioswales, an open-loop geothermal bore field with a modular ground-source heat pump chiller for heating and cooling, and a non-pressure-independent air delivery system to studio spaces, allowing for minimal ductwork in open ceilings. JB&B completed the design through Design Development.
